Back in 2003, the California Assembly named the third week in October as California Writers Week, to encourage people to honor the contributions of CA writers. Prompted by the Sacramento branch of the CA Writers Club, a number of Northern California writers’ groups will visit public libraries, assisted living centers, and veteran centers in Sacramento County. We will read excerpts from our writing, answer questions about writing and publishing, and have some books on hand.
